I slept much better this night than the previous and even though 8am was still too early to be up I got up anyway.
Auntie Janet, Jacques and I went down for continental breakfast and happily the rest of the family was there too. Grandpa, my Dad's Aunt Jean, my Dad's cousin Kathy (whose son got married)her husband Graham, My Dad's cousin Barb and her husband Mike and their son Patrick and daughter Jessie and then my Dad's cousin Anne.
We had a great visit with everyone even though it was short. I showed them all my pictures and promised to send them CDs of them cause they liked them. I'm not overly impressed with them but I'm still learning to use my camera. Wait till I can afford to buy the bigger and better model.
We said good-bye to everyone and headed out for 7.5 hour drive. We did make a few stops along the way though. We stopped at a cheese farm in St. Alberts and we stopped for lunch at a little roadside bar and grill. Auntie Janet had been wanting poutine since we had gotten talking about it after they bought cheese curds at the cheese farm.
The drive home seemed SO much longer than the drive there. I even got a tad car sick on the way at one point. After I had lunch though it passed.
ON the drive we passed a restaurant called "Sober Pub and Restaurant". I thought of what an oxymoron that is.
Driving through Prince Edward County got me thinking because there were so many great photo ops of old churches, fields of colourful crops and falling down barns. Not too mention there are quite a few winerys there. I thought maybe I should get a group together and we could go on a short wine and photo tour! I'll have to see what the gang says.
It is SO hot in Toronto today. Luckily the house was all closed up and drapes pulled so the house isn't too bad.
I arrived home at about 5 and Auntie Carol hadn't returned from her trip to the Muskokas yet.
